Wetland Planting at Carolina Beach

You’re invited to join the NC Coastal Federation at Carolina Beach State Park on Tuesday, June 18th. We need your help to plant thousands of wetland plants in an effort to restore a highly disturbed tidal marsh habitat, overrun by invasive species like Phragmites. Please be prepared for physically demanding work in muddy, wet, and potentially hot and humid conditions. No prior experience is necessary as basic training will be provided. All necessary project supplies and equipment, as well as snacks and refreshments, will be provided on-site. Restroom facilities and parking are available.
