Join us during Memorial Day weekend to clean up the beach at Fort Fisher! Meet us at the visitors center around 6pm. We will have some buckets and pickers available but bring some if you have it. Also bring gloves. Come help us help the rangers clean up the beach!
Ranger Jeff Davis from Carolina Beach State Park will be presenting on the poisonous plants, as sumac, oak, and ivy; and venomous animals, as snakes and spiders endemic to our area. We will learn how to identify, how to avoid, and what to do if you come in contact.
