First Day “Trash and Treasure” Beach Walk

Come start out your new year by joining us for a morning Beach Walk at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. We will see what “trash and treasure” was left on the beach the night before. We will have a couple of guide books available for use to help identify your beach finds. We will walk about a mile, but you are more than welcome to walk farther if you want.

Bring water and a container for your beach finds. A small trash bag is also recommend to help clean up the beach. Pets are welcome to join; they must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.

Meet by the lifeguard stand at the end of the boardwalk.
